Dakota’s Diary.

Destination Fear is one of Travel Channel’s most popular shows on air. The show consists of four friends who investigate the most haunted locations in America. During the middle of filming, our digital editor insisted on them capturing behind the scenes footage for social purposes. After going through the footage, I pitched the idea of creating a digital mid-form series based on the crew’s personal stories outside of the investigations. What makes this show unique is that it approaches a vlog-style of storytelling. Editing and producing a series like this helped me think outside the box on how we approach future digital shows.
